Bushido roughly translates to chivalry. It “means literally military-knight-ways, the ways which fighting nobles should observe in their daily life as well as in their vocation; in a word, the ‘precepts of nighthood’, the noblesse oblige of the warrior class” (2) this 144 page penguin class, non-fiction is a quick introduction to the moral code of the Japanese samurai. The content was easily explained & the cover is beautiful. It didn’t blow my mind but I don’t think that’s what the purpose of this book is
