haelenhaagen 's review for:
Mindset: The New Psychology of Success
by Carol S. Dweck
Good idea but the book is a waste of time.
Thank God I started with the audiobook at 1.5x the speed and gave up pretty much after 1hr out of 8.
Too much chit-chatting about the athletes of the world, and that's about it.
as far as I understand publishers are making the writers to do such books otherwise they won't publish,
so a lot of books end up what could've been a paragraph in hundreds of pages that goes around and around the subject which ultimately wastes one's life.
If I would've been immortal perhaps I would've been kinder.
I agree with everyone else that gave 1* review.
P.S. a book that is a living example of growth mindset and portrays the effort and sacrifice one makes in order to be the best is Shoe Dog - Phil Knight (founder of Nike)
