i liked this book more than i thought i would. i read it pretty fast, as i kept finding myself compelled to go back to it and keep reading. i loved the simple language, and the ways the author described what a dog was thinking in a fashion that felt realistic to me. i'm curious if there was research that went into it, or if it's just his opinion. either way, i really enjoyed it. and i OBVS loved the last chapter where buddy found ethan and got him back together with hanna, so heartwarming.
