The Optician's Wife by Betsy Reavley

4.0

I received an advance copy of this novel for an honest review.

Deborah "Dee" is a plain Jane. She thinks she isn't worthy of anyone's attention, until she meets Larry. Larry is upbeat, handsome, and smart. However, as the years go by, Dee suspects Larry of being less than faithful. What happens next is for the reader to find out!

I enjoyed this novel. It was an easy read, with just the right amount of twists and turns. I was pleased to see at the end that my suspicions were confirmed, but I felt there could have been more psychological development of the main characters. Overall though, a solid four star read for me :-)
