Big Boned by Meg Cabot
4.0

I love these books by Meg Cabot.

Former teen pop star, turned assistant residence hall director stumbles upon a dead body. Again.

This probably shouldn't be a surprise as the the residence hall she works in has been nicknamed Death Dorm.

Heather, who has finally found love in her math teaching assistant Tad, comes to work only to find that her boss has been murdered. Of course, she also has feelings for Cooper - her ex-boyfriend's brother. And in the mix of all this, unions on campus are threatening to strike!

Now she works to free the man (Sebastian) the police have arrested for the murder, find out who actually killed Owen (her boss), figure out what's going on with Tad, and deal with everything else.

This is a quick, fun read that makes me laugh. I love it. Heather cracks me up - the things she thinks, it's funny and relate-able and a great series.

I think the first two books were stronger, but I didn't pick this up looking for a deep story that was long and hard to get through. This definitely fills my quick, fun, light read spot!
