Part of me wishes I would have read this in it’s hay day and part of me is glad I didn’t. It’s heavy in a real way, but also very YA in the wording, the concepts not so much, but also yes unfortunately. I will say I never saw where this story was going until we were there. I think the big honorary prank was told a bit rushed, but overall the healing journey was very real.
