A Guide to Being Just Friends
by Sophie Sullivan
'A Guide to Being Just Friends' is a cute quick read filled with witty one-liners, romance and salad bowls! Neither Hailey nor Wes are looking for love when their lives intertwine, but typical for this genre, fate has other ideas. I can't say too much without adding spoilers, but the 'Meet Cute Trope' are going to love this new release.
For my preferences, unfortunately, I was expecting more. I couldn't relate to the characters or their connection, and it lacked that spark. Despite these flaws, I haven't been put off reading the other two books in the series. It is not overly awful, just not highly wonderful, either.
Thank you, NetGalley, and Headline, for a gifted copy of this book.
