Such a fast paced book, perfect for a beach read. You’re drawn in from the very beginning. I think the dialogue was my favorite thing about this book. It was very natural and felt like real conversations. Very contemporary for 2025.
The subplots, outside the romance storyline, are interesting too. There are family and friendship tensions that build up into a nice payoff for the reader. I did not like the extra 60 pages of epilogue. I’ve learned I’m in the minority with my dislike for epilogues. If there is one, I think 4 pages max is fine.
