Rape of Nanking by Irish Chang: Truly this should be a mandatory read in school. We read Anne Frank and we learn so much about the Euro front of WW2 but honestly I know very little about the pacific front. Every bit of this book was horrifying and disgusting. I have so much respect for Chang tackling this difficult topic. The epilogue at the end my your husband beautiful. Please read this.
