For a book with an incredible amount of sex it is not at all sexy. Nothing really changes, nothing is resolved, but that fits with the dreamlike nature of everything about the book. I'll reread it when I'm in the right mood and reassess how I feel after that, but it is a book that is nothing but vibes.
And some awkward objectification. I had some moments wondering if it was being racist and ableist, and knowing it was being awfully gendered (and oh look a throwaway fatphobic line for the one non-character who is just verging on heavy) but not being able to disentangle all of that from the unreal soup it sinks the reader into.
