I could not put this down. I don't usually read YA fiction ( it's subject matter does not interest me, and I get sick and tired of female book bloggers drooling over mediocrity), but this was freakin' awesome. The characters are compelling, the plot pulls you along without too many unnecessary twists as plot devices, and the overall context - end of the world in order to start again- quite plausible. My only critique: the biohazard caused by so many rotting, decaying bodies. Cholera and typhoid should have been in the mix as real threats as well.

If you're an adult who loves dystopic fiction, you'll enjoy this book.
