The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

5.0

Did I just read a masterpiece?
Wow. Okay I don't know how to start this off and whether to keep this simple or go on a full on rant. I thought all the reviews raving on about how good this book was front to back was a bit overkill but no the fuck it wasn't. Yes it was a killer twist, so killer to the point where I kept making predictions on what it was going to be and I was dead wrong, like I was so off if you heard my predictions you'd be laughing. I don't know how some people predicted it like they say they do in most reviews I've seen?? Like am I dumb or what because I thought it was genius BUT ANYWAY. Yes it was the definition of a page turner because for all the 2 and a half hours of my plane flight I read this and didn't stop to look at my phone when usually I can't read straight for more than 30 mins without getting bored. Yes it was unforgettable because I have never read anything that comes close to this, and I'm 99% sure you haven't either. And yes, this book is the perfect thriller. It might take the first 20-30 pages to get into it, but after that I promise you'll get so hooked that you'll forget you're even reading.
Reading back at this review I sound like some maniac who's begging you to read literal words on paper. But. Trust me this is the best thriller I have yet to read. And if you somehow disagree with me which I would find hard to believe but if you did you can come slap me or I don't know, shoot me in the head 5 times.

One of the easiest ☆☆☆☆☆ I've given
