Stone Cold Touch by Jennifer L. Armentrout
4.75
Heat Level: Low No sex, but heavy make-out scenes
Well damn. How has JLA made it so that I want the main character to just have both of these love interests?! Seriously. I am on team Have Them Both.
*Spoilers Ahead*
This was just as much of an addicting page-turner as the first book in this series. It is fun and snarky and full of action and angst. There is a love triangle, but in my opinion, it is done perfectly because I honestly can't choose who she should end up with. They both have pros and cons and usually I can tell because the one they don't end up with like turns into a tool. I haven't read the third book, so maybe one of them does eventually, but after this second one? I am torn.
Also, I knew something was up with Sam. As soon as his look and attitude change kept getting mentioned, I knew it was going to be something. I'm not surprised he turned out to be the Lilan, however, I wasn't completely sure. I don't understand how he managed to kill all these people though that Layla was around because he wasn't around all the time, but that might be explained in the next book.
