The writing is amazing. I don't mean the story but the words chosen by the author. They weave together beautifully. It really encapsulates the unwavering hope that Harry keeps for people even after everything he's seen. The story itself isn't awful but certainly doesn't reach the heights of other entries. Also,

the gatekeeper has Darth Vader vibes. I wonder if he's related to Harry.

It does contain my favorite

plot twist of the whole series. I was practically yelling at the author because of how suddenly he had objectified Luccio in the last few books. Revealing that she had her mind twisted into exactly what Harry desired was perfect. Although I'm not sure if Butcher had thought of that when he first introduced the plotline. Anyways, I hope Harry takes this lesson to heart.
