Queen's Shadow by E.K. Johnston
3.0

Definitely enjoying spending more time with Padmé and Sabé, and the final scene of the novel is touching. However, I found myself wishing for a more coherent plot. The storyline meanders without a compelling central conflict, and spends too much time on peripheral characters and small scale galactic politics. Yet, Padmé is still an awesome character worth spending time with, especially as a role model for younger readers.
