The Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper

Geez. This book was just not interesting at all to me. I've never read a book that had such vast vocabulary and vivid descriptive details of dialog. In my opinion it didn't fit the style and genre of the book at all. To make it worse, the narrator for the audiobook [a:Bill Weideman|748832|Bill Weideman|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png] complemented the writing style. He talked. That's all. The voice didn't fit. I can't even explain how completely off both the author and narrator were to the story. It just didn't fit at all. My best example is when Marty McFly goes back to 1885 dressed in those Chinese clothes that Doc had him wear. Or maybe T-Rex in Outer Space.

It's not a bad book though. It's just weird how it was written. Strange. I'm so stumped right now. I don't know what to do the rest of the day. It fried my brain and didn't fry it at the same time.
