What I Talk About When I Talk About Running by Haruki Murakami

3.0

I listened to this on Audiobook and it was calming and sometimes insightful, but felt a little more like Murakami was rambling. I know that was sort of the point of this book, but I guess I was expecting something with a little more... encouragement? I've been struggling to get my butt in gear lately, so I had high hopes and although Murakami managed to help me understand why I run, it didn't motivate me to get back in the game.

With that being said, I appreciate the way Murakami describes his running journey. It was interesting to recognize that I might have more in common with introverted runners than I thought.
