this was… a journey. a healing journey, written in the best way possible.
charlie deserved so much more than what her past gave her. such a young girl, never really getting to experience her childhood and teenage years. the quotes were beautiful, yet heartbreaking. reading about the events of charlies life.. once something good happened, it was crushed. but she healed. she healed without the magic of love. she did it herself. and seeing her thoughts and struggles, i could feel them myself. and you can notice that the author lived thru something similar, because it’s written in such a heartfelt way. one point, why’s there a girl named linus? and a dude named riley? lil confusing at this point.
I’m happy with the way it ended.
