Dead Collections by Isaac Fellman

4.0

I loved so much about this book, it's such a needed (and might I add, relatable) book, there is a great amount of deal of transmasc non-fiction and memoirs (which is great, honest), but it's so nice to see a protagonist who is transmasc in fiction; and it doesn't hurt that there's fantasy elements as well. There are a lot of elements of this book, all of which I adored, only reason it's getting a star off here, is it didn't gel as well, as I'd like to, but the contents were enough to keep me satiated. As a queer transmasc human being, a lot of the experiences spoken about in this book were so relatable, it was like finding water in a desert, after being deprived of thirst for a litany of years (minus the vampire stuff), but I am a nerd about vampire stuff as well (so that didn't hurt). And I'm also closely tied to Judaism, and the main protagonist is as well, so it's like...was this book made for me? Regardless, this was excellent and will be reading it again. Go and read this book!
