I thought this book was very silly but in a good way. I can already see my niece having an absolute blast reading this book. Lily was very funny. I enjoyed how nothing really phased her which made the contrast between her and Tom more apparent. I enjoyed seeing how she and Tom worked together. I will say there's a lot going on in the book so I think the pacing could have been a bit better, but overall this is the perfect read for young ones that love Halloween and spooky stuff without the scary bits.
