If you have read Before the Chaos, which I recommend, you know that Madison and Quentin have history and parted ways. Jump 10 years later, all grown up and both in their careers. Madison is working for the professional football team that Quentin gets traded to and has to work with him and his image.

Even though the relationship they had ended 10 years ago, Quentin still wants Madison and will do anything to get her. His heart has been with Madison every since. His loyalty and devotion spoke volume. Madison is no longer the teen she was. When these realize they will be hanging out together often, Madison does not make it easy for him .... AT ALL! She is in control and Quentin lets her...IYKYK

Once Madison let her anger go, these two communicated and were able to establish what they both wanted... each other! The connection these two have was not going to go away. They were meant for each other, even though time and distance tries to put them apart.

This was such a page turner for me. I was invested since the prequel and I was so glad to see everything work out. Quentin and Madison were perfect for each other in every way! Maggie delivered a solid story line and of course, the spice WAS THERE!!!! shhhheeesssh!
