i don't normally make reviews but I felt like it was warranted here. To start off I don't necessarily 'hate' the book, I just think it should've been better. The plot felt a bit like a rough draft after a while but the real reason I dnf'ed was due to the characters

Jada: she already got on my nerves the minute she arrived, the rudeness was completely unnecessary and I don't like that it was passed off as some 'cute character flaw'. She goes off on his business, assumes the cupcakes don't taste good and then just didn't really apologize for it? She just decides that he's too grumpy and can't handle her?? She just treats it like it's everyone else's fault but hers.

Donovan: he's ok but what started to grate on my nerves was the constant reminder that he's orderly and rigid... WE GET ITTTT
