Age of Myth by Michael J. Sullivan

I absolutely loved Age of Myth! It's pure, beautiful, well-written fantasy -- reminiscent of Lord of the Rings, with the entangling adventures of humans, elves, and dwarves (Rhunes, Fhrey, and Dherg, respectively). Perhaps that says something about Sullivan not really breaking out of the genre, but personally I didn't mind. Sullivan crafts really great, likeable characters, and manages to keep multiple POVs/subplots moving at a good pace (cough cough George R.R. Martin). Also, I may have a tiny character crush on Raithe.... haha.

Definitely recommend to all epic fantasy lovers!
