The Beautifull Cassandra by Jane Austen

5.0

These stories of Austen's (her juvenilia, the stories she wrote for her family's amusement as a child) are the last of Austen's writing for me to read. It was obvious from these stories the genius that was yet to come. The outrageousness of many of the stories (poisoners and murderers!) suggested the witty and satirical pen that would give us Northanger Abbey.

Fun, fast, and silly!
