this was the slow cozy recovery i needed after ACOWAR. i got to live, breathe and process with these characters for a second around the solstice. I enjoy just hanging with these characters and hearing their thoughts without the heavy stress of what's to come. I think Feyre's last few paragraphs sum up why this novella is good.
although i know feyre is feeling like life is fleeting & it could've been them either dead from war, i do not want her to have a baby
it seems to have set up the inner turmoil for nesta well for the next book. I was dreading leaving Feyre but now curious to be in Nesta's POV and going to pick up the next book right away.
