I am so glad I finally got round to reading this book. The way Meiko Kawakami has reached into my mind and pulled out how I see things and put it into words is beyond me. This semi-autobiographical(?) book delves into the world of working class women in Japan, as well as asexuality and death and it was just what I needed to read right now.
