Not every romance needs to be soul shattering sometimes a slow burn is just as exciting.
Unlike the deadline enthusiast that is Rowan Roth and her family I was pushing this one with my audiobook ready to be delivered to the next reader. But the looming deadline and staying up a little later then I would like to was worth it to hear the ending.
Enemies to lovers trapped together fighting for their lives... ok ok that's an exaggeration but with some of your classmates teaming up to get you out of your annual senior send off game wouldn't you team up with the one you loathe especially if it pretty much guarantees a win???
I love this story and the development of characters and their relations with another, the adventurous feeling this story brings makes me miss high school and the adventures I had and could've had. The author does amazing at bringing these characters too life and make you fall in love with them too. This book makes me laugh and smile (and embarrassingly enough) makes me blush because of how cute these two are, they're moments, banter, quick glances they all make me fall in love with them both and the relationship they slowly grow.
I'm looking forward to reading other books my Rachel Lynn Solomon.
