Goethe's Faust by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
4.0

The book is definitely worthwhile, and I particularly find the character Mephistopheles to be very well written, even likeable.
Some things that need to be noted are the references to greek mythology, some of which may not be widely known and, at times, can affect the reading experience.
Otherwise, the book has been exquisitely translated, the poetry is beautiful and the ideas are interesting.
