Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross

emotional lighthearted fast-paced

5.0

This book sings to my very soul. I could hear its music, rhythm and beat echoing deep within me. Ross' words clang with my essence and enthralled me forever. It made my 2023 favorites list and it shall make my 2024's as well. I literally forgot I was reading the minute I opened the page, the second my eyes came across Iris' words and Roman's writing. If you want to experience falling in love, deeply and madly, this is it. Ross' writing is exquisite to say the least if I'm being honest. I strongly believe the word divine, sublime and transcendent fit very well in here - iykyk. ;)
She created this wonderful world, put together a very straight forward plot - I find myself utterly satisfied with any info we got so far. Like I'm ok with all the questions I have and I don't mind if they're never answered. That's real. That's life; you live, you work, you find someone, you fall in love or you don't but not all questions have answers. You learn along the way to find your own.

Read to me, Roman! - that line utterly destroyed into oblivion.
