In the 300 something books that i have read, i have never shed a tear. Sure i got emo but nothing close to crying. So imagine my reaction when i start crying at the PROLOGUE.

I was so sure that I was not going to read a single 5 ⭐️ book in this year TILL I READ THIS.

NOT TO MENTION I READ THIS IN LIKE 12 HOURS

Iris is such a realistic character and she seems so so wonderful. I was doubtful of Roman initially but warmed to him soooo quick. I like that their story is a subplot and not the entirety of the book. The war descriptions were so good that they half scared me.

THE ENDING WAS SOOO GLORIOUS, the plot twist was slightly predictable, but I liked it  nonetheless.

I love all of the characters sm
