I love a complex, morally grey on the darker side of the spectrum, main character. God, this book was good. I do think the editing needs more time. There were quite a few little errors that made the reading somewhat annoying, only because the story is so good that I think it deserved the extra attention. This was a wild ride. The relationship is so well developed. The ending? Predictable but still devastating, even knowing it’s not the end. Took forever to get the spice and that was the right choice. The tension was well built.
