I really liked this book. Being Muslim and an immigrant a lot of the characters reminded me of my own family members. This book gives a great perspective into a culture and community that I’d never considered. I love the way the death of one character can affect everyone so differently. I loved the alternating perspectives in the book. It really adds to the character development.
