I just love TJ Klune’s writing style; it’s YA for everyone and I have breezed through both his books in a matter of days due to sheer enthusiasm. It has genuinely sweet but not saccharine romance, heartwarming found family and friendship, goofy but genuinely funny humour and reflective, emotional moments that do in fact make you think about life. I really enjoy the novelty of his work; the traditional tropes are all there but with new twists, settings and unusual characters. Each character is lovingly developed and no-one is ever left behind. Overall, this is just a magical, happy book that will leave you feeling worthy of love and determined to share that love.
