Field Notes for the Wilderness: Practices for an Evolving Faith by Sarah Bessey

challenging emotional funny hopeful reflective slow-paced

5.0

There are so many tears streaming down my face after finishing this book.
Sarah writes for those of us who have more questions than we know what to do with, who feel complex emotions about the church, but who still know and believe the goodness of the person of Jesus and his people.
This book met me where I am in my own faith walk. It spoke blessing over my doubts and questions, it spoke courage to my fears, companionship to my fear of isolation, and offered a place to land, and a place to start.
I’ll be coming back to this one many times to come.
