Kolejne 365 Dni
by Blanka Lipińska
So Blanka knows how to destroy a character huh?! Not really dead- but killing his character, to a uncaring asshole.
First of all the start of the book: I hate it! I totally was not team nacho. I would have been, if Laura wasn’t such a whining and ungrateful person and Massimo not this caring and yes overly obsessed person.
The author now wants us to believe that Massimo wasn’t that good, it was toxic and he only wants her for sex. She even make him a rapist!
I’m disgusted by how Laura does, how she convinces herself that it’s okay to fall in love (again) with Marcelo. The author really tries her best to create this saint. Yet we all know he’s a murderer too, and also very possessive and overly protective.
I just can’t with this book and this story line! I know a plot twist is nice in a predictable plot- but this is plain out bad!
I have about 150 pages to go… but ugh what a waste of time and also; ugh why am I like this?! Why do I keep reading it while being so annoyed! Its clear there is no hope that this story is going to be any good, yet I keep reading. Should ask my therapist some questions about that, she might have a thing or two to say about that ;)
Okay back to the story: so Laura has this epiphany that’s she is certain that’s she’s in love with him when she says she misses Olga and his response is: let her come here.
Like come on, are you that fucking simple! How can you even do these kinds of things, when your emotions would have to be everywhere, after you your husband raped you, you fled the country, then your husband threats you, you leave him, and all you can think of is to f**** another man.
And then nacho, who I’m sorry, is way too over compensating EVERYTHING?! He’s pushy, he’s demanding, even though he supposed to give her space. Funny thing, when he talks about her sister who he wants to protect, he says, she needs her rest, after being married with an asshole, yet he’s chasing Laura as if it’s his last breath, not giving her space or whatsoever!
Seems to me Laura is suffering from some serious ptsd and Nacho is (unawarerly?) taking advantage of it
Also another thing: where is that dog? She took her with her when she fled from Massimo to Ibiza
Well that question got answered real quick. From rapist to psycho… there is nothing left of his character to even “like” the author took it all.
Ah I just want hit myself in the face that I keep reading. But I’m now at the wedding part, because I was curious enough to want to know what would happen there. Well it was no surprise that Massimo would be there it even wasn’t a surprise that he was there with another woman, but the big surprise was: that Laura had the audacity to be pissed off for him having another woman within three weeks while they are still married. EXCUSE YOU?! Didn’t you just fuck another guy, almost the next day you left him?! Ugh!
Okay I finally finished! So many things happening all at once. It’s like where do wanna go with this story?? And how?
I am going to watch the movies, just because I love Michel Morrone ;) but also; I hope they did a better job with the movies!
