Healing Hand by Nora Phoenix

Sweet doesn’t quite cut it to describe this story, though it is, but it’s also so much more than that. This is one of the most touching hurt-comfort love stories I’ve ever come across. It’s very low on heat, with great emphasis placed on Saxton and Gale’s emotional connection and the trust and support they give each other. Gale’s consideration of Saxton’s feelings, his gentle care and the devotion he showers Saxton with is inspiring and beguiling. Saxton and Gale both fall somewhat outside of the “norm”, for different reasons, and they find acceptance and love with each other in a way they hadn’t thought was possible. Saxton has a very painful secret in his past, and when he finds the courage to open up to his Daddy about it so much starts to make sense, but it’ll break your heart. This story surprised me and moved me. I love it, as I love every book in this amazing series so far.
