glad this book exists and i really appreciated the introduction and foreword in this specific edition that gave context for this book. gives a picture of lives of different Japanese-Americans after japanese internment and especially the lives of the young men who answered “no” to both loyalty questions (for a variety of reasons).

pairs well as a continuation from How We Get Free by Traci Chee.
