Fruits Basket, Vol. 1
by Natsuki Takaya
After falling in love with the anime, I determined to read the manga as soon as I possibly could. When one of my dearest friends surprised me with a large quantity of them he'd found at used book stores, I dug in.
The story telling manner of manga is astounding to me. You could say my childhood was lacking since I never once read a single comic book, but I get the idea that they followed at least a somewhat similar story telling idea.
The characters already seem so much richer and I can tell there's going to be a lot more to the already beautiful story in these books, I can hardly wait to continue reading.
