29 Myths on the Swinster Pharmacy by Lemony Snicket
3.0
What does it mean if you finish a book and you don't know if you liked it...
This book was interesting, dark, and strange but when it comes down to it it isn't much of a story. What I mean is the 29 'myths' don't really lead to a conclusion, there is no climax or resolution. I'm not saying that all of this makes it bad or good but it does leave the reader feeling somewhat confused. I felt like maybe I had missed something.
The illustrations were magnificent and were instrumental in creating a creepy and mysterious tone. I would be curious to see how a child would react to this book, maybe I'm just too old to fully get it...?
