"You are braver than you think. Stronger than you yet know because of what you've endured. Fight. Live."
It took me a lot longer to read this book than usual. Normally, I am just breezing through books, but this one I could not do that... and no, not because it was bad. I found myself re reading paragraphs because I need to sear it into my mind because I do not want to forget it.
This book is truly a work of art. From the world building, to the character development, to the emotions I felt while reading.
I had no struggle with putting myself in the world of Elysian. The world building was amazing. Walking alongside Alora and Garrik as they navigate their struggles with their trauma and seeing them grow was a true blessing.
Garrik, our beloved Savage Prince. He has redeemed himself and then some in my eyes. His character, along with Alora's, was written beautifully. Garrik has quickly become my favorite Shadow Daddy, knocking Daddy Nyktos to second place. 🥵🫠
The side characters were amazing as well, I could see myself sitting along the firesite chatting and laughing with them all. Not to mention, I need a big bear hug from Thalon since this book is over.
Jade is on a whole other level. Maybe she could teach me some swordplay.
Eldacar- I could just absolutely squish him🥰
And Aiden - Oh Adien, I wanna just hug him and hear him crack jokes.
⚫️Enemies to lovers
⚫️Swoon worthy Shadow Daddy
⚫️Morally Grey🫠
⚫️Magics
⚫️Found family
⚫️Strong FMC
⚫️Traumance
As always, please check trigger warnings. Mental health matters... more importantly, you and your mental health matter.
