I really loved “Ariadne” by the same author so thought I’d give Elektra a shot too - unfortunately it wasn’t as good for me.
It alternates chapters between a few main female characters. There’s more focus on Elektra towards the end of the book but I actually found her to be really unlikeable which made me want to “get through” this book as I wasn’t enjoying the story as much anymore.
Overall it was interesting to learn this Greek story from the women’s perspective but I enjoyed the author’s other work a lot better.
