This book was a solidly fine, enjoyable read. I wouldn't say that it rocked my world or was my favorite romance that I've read recently, but I did enjoy it and would recommend it to others! The love story between the main characters was enjoyable, and I thought that the supporting characters were cute and added value, though they were underdeveloped in a way that left some plot holes.

The thing that annoyed me the most is
that it didn't feel believable that Wes was so anti-love. It felt like he made this grand declaration at the beginning that love is bad and doesn't lead to people making rational decisions, but that there's really nothing behind that except for his parent's divorce. It doesn't feel like the author went into this enough to make it believable that he would be this anti-love, even with all the positive examples of love around him. It is also a pet peeve of mine when characters are so anti-love because they think it will make them irrational, and then while "resisting" love they fall into all the traps they're trying to avoid. SO, all of that made it less enjoyable to me.
