Courted by Jennifer Chance is book one in the Gatekeepers of the Gods series and I loved it!! Courted is a modern-day fairytale with some Greek Mythology.
Emmaline’s parents were injured in a car wreck so she postponed going to graduate school to take care of them. After some time has passed she decides to go on vacation traveling with her friends. Kristos, the Crown Prince of Ouros sees Emmaline drowning and rescues her while paparazzi captures the rescue.
This was such a sweet story and a great modern day fairy tale. The story was well written along with all of the characters. I love the relationship between Emmaline and Kristos. This was a quick read that I didn’t want to put down. I can’t wait for book two. I was given this book as an ARC in exhange for my honest thoughts and opinions.
