I strangely liked how the romance felt second to the other more serious and unexpected situations the characters were in. It felt more real that way. Quan is everything from the beginning. Anna was incredibly frustrating however as the book progresses the reader gets to understand and feel for her more. The steamy scenes were just enough as well to keep the reader interested and wanting more. Overall I really loved this one. More so than the first second. I almost didn’t pick it up but I’m so glad I did!
