The Overdue Life of Amy Byler by Kelly Harms

3.0

I don’t normally read or love romance books but this was entertaining and heartwarming. I enjoyed the flirty nerdy banter between Amy and Daniel. The plot was overall predictable but still fun to listen to. I’m not a mom and perhaps would relate to it more if I were but at times I found her motherhood martyrdom trite and annoying. She was selfish and her friendship felt one sided. Talia (her single, New York career woman bff) and Lena (her single, lesbian, ex-nun bff) were breaths of fresh air and my favorite characters.
