The Twilight Garden by Sara Nisha Adams
5.0
This book was simultaneously not what I expected and exactly what I was expecting.
The author is such a brilliant writer, crafting the story so perfectly from start to finish. I cried a lot, like actual tears, which is how you know the writing is brilliant. The way you get attached to the characters and then have your heart ripped out when you lose one or two of them.
I also loved how the author created characters that were so lonely and grew as the pages went on into humans within a community. They realized the community they always had and the one they could create with the power of a garden.
I don't know, this was just so beautiful. I couldn't believe this book made me feel so many emotions in so few pages. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.
