a pretty quick and light read. the premise was quite interesting and executed well in my opinion.

Mickey as a narrator gets a little grating at times (think know-it-all with a mouth). i did enjoy the world-building aspects of the novel, which thankfully were quite generously layered through the chapters and plot-moving points.

the ending felt a little too neat as well, but got the point of the book across I suppose.
