My Next Breath: A Memoir by Jeremy Renner
4.25
emotional hopeful inspiring reflective medium-paced

This is a very engaging recollection of a truly wild experince/accident and Jeremy Renner's recovery. I would have given a bit higher rating, except the book got a little repetitive and the insights he expresses aren't particularly groundbreaking. It feels very authentic and it comes through how the lessons he gained fro. The experience were truly life-changing. The book is very inspirational, but not quite as thought-provoking as I look for to rank higher on my personal ratings. But overall an authentic and engaging memoir. It also holds a special place for me because the Camp Rennervation (which he discusses in the epilogue) he has hosted in 2024 and 2025 were an incredible and invaluable experience for our foster kids. And the foundation has hosted other events (like a Christmas festival) that were wonderful experiences for our family and I am so grateful for the Renner family's involvement in our community.
