Emerson Knight has me forever. This sweet, quirky, loyal, caring man is everything. Emerson is the third baseman for the Revs and besties with Chris “Dragon” Damiano. He has never had a bestie before or ever felt like he felt in that falling for Chris’s sister, Gianna, terrifies him as he does not want to lose that friendship.

Gianna works for a crappy company and just broke up with her boyfriend who works for this company and moves back to Boston. She ends up rooming with Emerson and form a friendship of understanding and love.

I loved these two together. The way that Emerson would talk Gianna up, give her extra confidence and just overall support her is everything she needed. She in return provided Emerson with the support and reassurance that he is enough!

This story was so good. My heart goes out and is/was with Emerson the whole time I read this. So many times I wanted to shake him and be like how do you see your own worth!!!! The way the team backs him is so sincere and amazing. This book was soooo good. I love reading Jenni’s books and cannot wait to read more.
