I read the comic adaptation of this book a few years ago, and even though I enjoyed it, I wasn't sure what more the novel would offer. I am so happy I was proven wrong!
Timothy Zahn is clearly an excellent writer and that trickles down into every aspect of this book. All of the characters are wonderfully constructed, especially because Zahn perfectly toes the line between understanding a character and agreeing with them. I'm very exited to read the rest of this series!
